Teeth cavity also known as tooth decay, these are the damaged area in the tough surface of teeth which may cause tiny holes or openings.

Cavities are one of the most common teeth problem among children worldwide

If cavity left untreated, it may cause unbearable toothache

Sometimes cavities doesn't cause pain in the starting and it become turn into bigger cavities,  so it is necessary to visit your nearby dentist.

Tips to prevent children's teeth from cavity


1. Avoid some food

There are some food which may cause cavity or decay i.e., Juices, Sugar, Gummy candy or sticky
candy.

If your children often eat these food items then tell him/her to brush their teeth immediately after eating.

2. Oral hygiene

Tell your children how to take care of their teeth. tell them to brush at least two times a day for two minutes at a time.

In infants clean the gums with help of soft cloth to remove plaque. Use pea sized amount of tooth paste for children ages 3 to 6 year.

3. Give water before bedtime

Giving your baby a bottle filled with milk or juice at the bed time or nap-time may cause early childhood caries.

So it is best to give a bottle of water.

4. Take enough fluoride

Fluoride is good for teeth, regular use of fluoride made enamel strong, provide protection from acid.

Now in the market their are lots of toothpaste which contains fluoride.

Keep one thing in your mind that too much fluoride can cause tooth discoloration.
